This seems like simply an issue of semantics but when doing an advanced merge for show control, you can only merge entire event lists, not individual events -- which makes sense since events themselves are dynamically assigned event numbers. However, when performing an advanced merge, it seems like since we're merging lists, that the "list" column should be used for merging, not the typical start/end which is often used to merge individual items/objects/cues.
