What to do in case you find no tabs or docks on your screens (Cobalt v7.3.x and earlier software)

Sometimes someone closes all the tabs and docks on the Cobalt screens, leaving the screens apparently blank except for the top and bottom frames. If a show file gets into this state, you can easily get tabs and docks back by using the C/ALT & TAB TAB command to restore the default screen layout. In some cases, you may need to touch or click the screen before using this command to get it to work.

To ensure that a tab does not get closed you can "lock" it onto the screen. Use SETUP & TAB to apply (or remove) the lock. You will see a padlock icon in the tab header when a tab is locked. Locked tabs can still be moved around the screens, they simply will not close.

Thanks much -

Sarah
