I have a question, thought, discussion...
I wonder if there is a easy way to change fixtures in a pre-programmed show.
Like if I would be on tour with my own desk and some specials, and then use the fixtures that are in house, how easy would it bee to swap the Mac Auras I used one day for the Robe LEDwash I use the next. or more complex: the spots? I get the part that they need the same channel number, but then? I need to update positions but how about colors and so on. Any fast way to do it?
I have done a swap like this at one time and got a lot of trouble going from a Robe 250AT spot to a MAC500. The problem was the control channel on the Mac500 that was at the same as the shutter channel. Making me sending "Lamp off" all the time to the Mac500.
And finally, what to think about when doing things like this? I guess things like not having to many colors help with time saving.
