RDM patching

I would like the desk to autoconnect patched fixtures to RDM fixtures or at least let me connect them.

Now if you have a patch and turn on RDM cobalt don’t connect that the ch1 Robe600 in mode 1 patched to 1.1 is the same as the Robe600 in mode 1 patched to 1.1 found in RDM. And I can’t just say this is ch1. I have to un-patch the device and then re-patch it in RDM.

It feels like it could be done faster.

Hi Johannes, Some days I think Anders is happy for us, some days I think he wishes he never “met” us. RDM is limited to 32 devices on a gateway port. Splitters will work, but there are only so many…

We are planning to allow linking and unlinking of RDM devices. If the patch is the same, it is quite straight-forward. However, we also need to be able to resolve if the patch is different.
