ETC NOMAD & TOUCH OSC

Question

Hello, I've bought etc nomad student package as I am the lighting technician my school and I want to use TouchOSC on my iPad. I've already installed it and put the layout on and I am using the EOS console but I cant get it to connect. I've got my own router and I've set it up but eos and TouchOSC won't work together. I cant figure out why. please help.

so you switched on OSC in nomad, shell, settings, network? 
and you switched OSC on in nomad, setup, show, show control? checked the TX IP and the ports (they most be opposite of what you set in touch OSC) 
in touchOSC you added the console IP? 
your ipad and nomad are in the subnet (i.e. have a similar IP but not the same, and have the same subnet mask?) 
can you ping the ipad from your nomad computer?

i usually work with 
Eos TX = TouchOSC incoming = 8001 
Eos RX = TouchOSC outgoing = 8002 
i think ETC uses 7000 and 8000 by default, that will work as well, it's just important that the sending port of Eos matches the receiving port of touchOSC and vice versa. and the ports you choose must be different from the String RX/TX ports in Eos show control setup
