Eos Family Ion only outputing 1-256 on Both Universe 1&2

Ion only outputing 1-256 on Both Universe 1&2

My ETC Ion has a system count of 1024 channels but i can only get output on DMX Channels 1thru256 on Both universe 1 & 2.

I have check the Default setting on the desk, but i haven't have any luck getting above 257.

can anyone suggest why it won't output fully from 1-512 on both universes?

Initial thought: check the dimmer double ("Doubled") checkbox in the shell (Exit -> Settings -> Local I/O)

Okay - yep, that's the issue then (as you probably saw). Dimmer Doubling will take the first 256 addresses for a universe and combine it with another address range of 256 addresses (defined as the Dimmer Double offset). Long story behind the how and the why, but if you don't use it, it's best to leave the box unchecked. (Also happy to go deeper into the why - just ask. :) )
