ETC Gadget Issue

The gadget itself says its running (1.1.0.9.0.4) is this correct for the Gadget/IO Board? I will say when I went to update it... the gadget went into a "bootloader" mode... and never went out of that. I had to physically copy an paste the "14d5.0114_Gadget_II_v1.1.0.9.0.4.S19" file into the gadget. But then the light on the gadget went green and it worked fine on the PC.

Is this a Gadget I with one DMX port or a Gadget II with two?

It is a Gadget 2. It has 2 DMX ports.

In this case the firmware 1.1.0 is correct. The 1.4.2 update is for the Gadget I, and should not be used on this hardware.
Can you please uninstall and reinstall the ETCNomad Mac software and try again?

I am getting the same error after an uninstall and reinstall

Basic question... Have you restarted the computer since reinstalling?
Also, is the Mac a MacBook? If so, is it plugged into power?
