Ascii and colour references

Hi all,

I am working with ETC Lustr2 and Tungsen HD spots and have a question regarding colour pallets with colour references and ascii exports.

Let's say I put ch1 @ 3/201. Giving me a G201 as reference on the colour. I save this colour as colour pallete 201.
Then I export my file as a ASCII and import it at a later moment.

When importing it all my colour palletes etc are fine. But there is one thing wrong.
I see the G201 reference in my colour pallete but the data behind it is Hue and Saturation at 0 instead of their values needed for 201.

To me this seems like a little bug. Has anybody else had this issue??

Is there a reason you're export as an ASCII and not just importing from a esf?

ASCII is a standard so I'm sure it's not possible to export this data because other consoles wouldn't be able to read it.

I had some issues with extra magic sheet symbols I wanted to get rid off to decrease my file size from 9+ mB to around 1mB. One way to do that is to delete every symbol by hand (one by one) or make a ascii and import that to get rid of it quickly.

I would think that if the reference comes into the board again it should also get the right data with it. As I do get the references to G201 back in my CP.

you could also try to export as CSV and then re-import as CSV, maybe that works better?

No luck. It is not something that I would use a lot. It is just that it seemed like a strange thing to me.
