How to setup my router for use with aRFR

Hi,

I've just got a tp link nano router (TL-WR802N) to use with my tablet and my aRFR app while I'm on tour with a show. I've used the app with other venue networks/ions without any issues, but am failing miserably when it comes to setting mine up.

What is the best way to go about this? I have very limited network experience and don't really understand what I'm doing when I'm changing the settings... I know how to change the settings on the console, but I'm not sure what I need to change on the router. It can be setup as different things too (access point, hotspot, normal router) and it all just baffles me. It would be great if there was some sort of idiots guide as to what to do from scratch, especially for someone like me who no network experience! Please help!

I've looked at a variety of pages and searched but all it does is confuse me. I have no experience in networking so this is all new to me. My other problem is I'm not near to a console. I did try at the weekend when I was by an ion but got absolutely nowhere. Thanks anyway.

Next time you are at an Ion and it’s not working, call one of our offices around the world and a Tech Service Colleague can help troubleshoot Live with you on the phone.
