Nomad on Mac as DHCP Server

I'm using Nomad on a Mac desktop via an Eos programming wing and am attempting to use the Mac as a DHCP server to connect a Response 4 port gateway via an unmanaged PoE Netgear switch. I set the Mac IP address as an Eos console of 10.101.90.101 and a SubNet of 255.255.0.0. I've set the Sharing options from the ethernet port to share addresses. The gateway requests an address but defaults to a "network not found" address. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing incorrectly? Also, I have an Airport Express that I'd like to use for the iRFR. Should I perhaps use the Airport as the DHCP Server?

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Matt
