[Bug] Colour Path 2 vs Drop Down Path 2

Is there a reason why selecting Path 2 via the Path Key has a different brightness level vs selecting Path 2 via Tab 27 drop down?

Checking back it was like this in 2.5 but I've not checked 2.3.
