Expected behavior after Win 7 upgrade

Getting my consoles upgraded to Win 7. What can I expect to happen when I run the XP show files? will they all run okay?

They will run fine. You should notice a big difference in boot time and saving shows, as the upgrade to a SSD is a huge speed boost to disk operations.

Ok that's good news because I understood sometimes things don't work well when there are Windows upgrades; older doesn't work in newer.
Definitely looking forward to the speed change with the SSD.

The embedded versions of Windows that the consoles run on are not really comparable to the full consumer versions of Windows. The embedded versions are very task-focused with all of the extraneous bits removed that tend to cause conflicts. ETC does a good job of testing as well, so you can be confident that things will work just fine.
