in the target cue of the fade (i.e. where the channels are off) check if you have an L flag in the MV column of your PSD. if you have do a goto cue to go to the target cue. type [Query] {Live Moves}. is the misbehaving light selected now? if so you haven't programmed your fade out cleanly and should remove any move instruction from your Non-Intensity Parameters so Automark can do its job.

Is there a command to remove the move instruction without recreating the cue? I see the 'L' under the MV column but cannot stop the flash, even doing an 'out' and then recording again.

go to blind, select the target cue. select the offending channel. in the CIA you will see buttons for all the fixture's parameters. in the top left corner of the CIA you'll find a button AllNPs (all Non-Intensity Parameters). click it, At Enter. the command line should read Chan 1 AllNPs @ Enter.
