should my rdm work with gadget II and nomad?

RDM on/off for DMX ports at the back of the console is in Setup > System > Output > DMX (starting in 2.7, before it was in the shell under I/O)

As i mentioned in the second picture i did turn on the rdm in the steps u mentioned, but i got only flashes from the led lights and i did not saw them on the patching menu as it should be.

So the question is whats whent wrong?

The Nomad can not comunicate rdm via Gadget II or the Cameos have some rdm issues and ar not able to send corect information?

fixtures flashing upon receiving RDM usually means they're not RDM compatible (and not fully DMX compliant) because they interpret the RDM signal as DMX and think they need to do things when the console actually just wants to talk to them

probably that is the case. i will try with different fixtures and will come back with info.

In fact the light of the Cameo flashes .... but if it is possible to change, for example the direction of the fixture ... although not in an immediate way, it can take up to 40 sec. in making the change.

Some fixtures do tout that they are RDM enabled, but their functionality is quite limited or poor. Chroma Q product line comes to mind.

If your fixtures are flashing, it may be a corrupted data stream. Make sure you're using DMX cable and not microphone cable. and consider adding a DMX Terminator to the end of line.

HY Wuz, i do not use a splitter as my rig is very limited for the moment (2 pieces of dimmer 12 ch each and 2 pieces of Cameos Pixbar). Yes the cables are made from microfon cable as the dmx cables are more stiff and i don't have the terminal plug inserted in the chain, that is what i will try next to terminate the chain.
