Stop effect on macro

How do you record Stop Effect into a Macro? Learn and editing in the Macro page doesn't seem to allow you to.

Thankyou!

  • Hello,

From the macro editor, it appears that this function is not recording properly. We'll add this to our list of things to fix.

If you record the macro outside of the editor using the learn functionality, it appears to work properly.

  • I just found this thread, 10 years old and it still doesn't work!  I guess it's not a priority.  I did what ETC recommended and found a completely different command being recorded.  Stop_Effect gets recorded when you learn it outside the editor.  Stop_Effect_Button is the only command available in the list.  And when you push the Stop Effect on the console while editing, nothing gets recorded in the editor.  Too bad we can't copy and past commands from inside the editor.  That would be better than fixing the button!!
