Smartfade 2496 Console how to integrate with existing MA dimMA+dimMACompact+NDP Network Dimmer Processor

Hi All,

I need assistance on integrating the ETC Smartfade 2496 console with existing MA dimMA+dimMACompact+NDP Network Dimmer Processor system. Can anyone assist? What are the additional convertors required to make the console work with current existing MA NDP system?

  • The SmartFade console can only output hard-line DMX (no network protocols). That means you would either need an MA node configured as a DMX input somewhere in the system, or you could possibly connect DMX from the SmartFade directly to one of the DMX inputs on the NDP.

    What console are you replacing? If it also outputs DMX, then you may not need to make any changes to your system.
