[Bug] Global Position Palette (Need Confirmation From Other Users)

Ok, this has been my most frustrating moment so far...

FB4 with b321

I am unable to consistently, or sometimes not at all, able to make a "Global Position Effect Palette".

I'm working with Showguns, Ispots and Iwashes.

1. Grab fixtures, doesn't matter which ones..

2. Set Position, intensity and apply a Pan and Tilt effect in the effect editor.

3. Record/global and pick an effect palette.

4. Open the FX palette you just made.. Does it indicate a global palette by showing "All Types". If it does, repeat the process a few times, and let me know if you get inconsistent results in being able to successfully and consistently record the "Global" or "All Types" FX position palette.

Thanks

  • Considering the lack of replies, I'm starting to think I may be the only one having problems recording global FX palettes.

When I get a chance later today, I will make a new show and try again, hoping the show file I am using is corrupt. If that doesn't work, then maybe I'm doin something wrong. Are there any specific limitations to which particular parameters or fixture types can be used to record a global position/movement FX palette in H4? It wouldn't make sense, since the default movement/position FX parameters in the FX directory such as "circle", "square", etc, are all global palettes.

    Thanks
