Is there (yet) a better solution than making a macro, to step through media / folders on a media server. Why can't the "Fine" function allow slower and more exact selection of media server folders and files .... its crazy when trying to quickly busk something in that this doesn't exist.
In V2 will have added another mode to those buttons that will jump the value by 1 dmx channel, this works great for media file and folder! We are calling this function "adjust by one". I am sorry this does not help you today but it is coming!! I have tested it and it is a great new feature.

Thoughts on taking "adjust by one" a step further and applying it to the center wheel on the Hog 4? Allowing each "click" of the wheel to move one folder/file.
Wait, I'm a bit confused. Isn't v2.0 supposed to have CITP and possibly MSEX thumbnails? If so, then is the function "Adjust By One" going to be in addition to "Thumbnail Media File Selection?" Or is "Adjust By One" gonna give us the final method in file selection?

As the center wheel is just another encoder this will also work with it!

JB it is an addition, for example Catalyst doesn´t support CITP, and never will cause Richard hates CITP (and I have to agree ;-) ) there adjust by one is the way to go
The feature is another mode for the buttons. At the moment we have fine and step thru features. With V2 there will be more options to that button like this "adjust by one"
Thats how I understood it. Cause that would make sense to me in combination with the jog/shuttle wheel. Not only for files/folders, also for inframe, outframe, keystone etc...

There are still the streaming protocols as I did mention MSEX. IMHO CITP is better than no thumbs at all.
Totally agree, but a lot of my files start with a black frame... So 32x32 pixels and black frame... Hmmm... Not good. ;-) There are a lot of cool protocols avialable which might even be more usefull (streaming protocols that provied feedback from the real output)
The "adjust by one" currently (today) only works with the buttons below the encoders. "Adjust by one" is just one of four new modes we have added to these buttons that will be included in the V2 release. We are looking into make the center encoder on the H4 adjust by one when turning it.
V2 will contain CITP (thumbnails) and some other long awaited features.
