I was thinking about buying a hedgehog 4.
Most of the times 4 dmx/artnet universes are fine (two hardware, and two with an art net or hog node).
For some bigger gigs I would like to expand my desk with one or two universes.
(When shows getting bigger, I'll hire a different hog desk ;-)
I was thinking about the next set-ups, which of them will work:
- connecting an additional hog 4 processor/node/widget
- connecting a laptop with the same show in slave mode, with an additional hog 4 widget or node.(different part of the show is patched on these universes)
will this work?
Another question, does the hedgehog has the same osc functionality as all the other hog 4 consoles? I was thinking of triggering the timeline of my media server by osc in stead of artnet, this saves me a universe….
