I looked around the forums briefly to find an answer to this question, but could not find one. I want to know if it is possible to use the built-in network interface on a computer with Hog 4PC to output Art-Net. (Use it as a fixture-net port) I run lights for a small band with a few lights, and want to mess around with the Hog 4PC software, but the DPs and Widgets are way out of my price range. (Hopefully not for long)
As has already been mentioned, the widgets and DP's are what unlocks the Artnet output for HogPC.
If you have a single widget attached, you get a single art net universe. If you have a super widget attached, you get 4 universes of art net…and so on and so on.
