HOG 4 Fullsize Screen Pallettes/Sizes

Hi,
I'm programming a show which is going to transferred to a Hog 4 Full Size on Hog 4 PC + Programming wing.
I am trying to program my views so they will be correct/or close enough to correct when I open the show on a Full Size 4.
Can anyone tell me how many scenes I would get across (left>right) if I had a scene view on the entire right touchscreen,
this is presuming I had not unlocked or changed the default size and it was maximised to the largest size.
Make sense? I'm trying to program comment macros that interact with scenes so helpful to know now rather than having to edit macros.
I'm guessing scenes
1>20 are line one
21-30 are line two

Thanks Cormac

  • Hi All,
    According the very helpful
    Colin Wood see below.

If you have a directory open full screen on a Hog 4, sizes are…

26 x 12 for small buttons on left display
    26 x 11 on right display

20 x 9 for medium buttons on left display
    20 x 8.5 on right display

16 x 7.5 for large buttons on left display
    16 x 7 on right display.

Agreed moving views /palettes about is time consuming if you are moving console constantly with the same show.
I'm currently working on a show where we a Full-size Hog 4 is requested but programmed on another member of the family.

Would be really great if this information could be used to make view templates.
I'm programming scene macros which only work with specific scenes so having the layout/view change or move can be a real time killer.

    Thanks
