Hi All, I am having difficulty patching Mac Auras, it seems there is only one mode available and it is a multi patch fixture. Can someone walk me through it? Cheers, Kenny
You will need to patch the Mac Aura Standard then the Aura Fx. You do not need to address the FX on the fixture, we just break up the protocol into different fixtures to give the user the control they need.
So an example: (you may need to add more than one fx) Unit 1 - Mac Aura Standard: 1 Unit 1 - Mac Aura FX: 15 Unit 2 - Mac Aura Standard: 26 Unit 2 - Mac Aura FX: 40
So, If I had 50 of these, would I need to patch them one at a time or is there a way to patch the 50 Standards with an offset of 14 and then the 50 FX filling the slots left by the offset?
There is also patch offset/gap now or you use the profile i have linked to in several posts before.
Or use dotted user numbers, the full number for the "main" fixture and the Aura as x.1 Then you can patch 1 thru xxx at xxx Also later when programming you can always select the whole fixture (main + aura) at the same time
