client log out

Hello, I have a PC running v3.2.0 (Net 3) as a server attached to a switch, a DP8000 (Net 13) also attached to the switch, a Hog4 Console running as a server and its DP8000 (Net 5) attached to the switch, and a wireless router attached to the switch. All with static IP addresses. I can log into the show from the wireless remote, but can only log out if I set the "clients" to run their servers. If the server is not checked (which sometimes it does it on its own) the client just sits there and never logs out of the show. The Hog4 Console is outputting Artnet to a media server and the DP8000 (Net 13) as well. Is this a bug? I can't figure out how to have a remote be a simple "client".

Thanks,

Bryan

  • This is a problem with Client's in general, does not matter if the client is a PC or Console.
Log off both consoles, kill power if needed, launch your show on the main console then log on with your second console.
I would turn the DP8K off on your second console since you do not need it. (sitting at launcher - setting button - deselect Run Internal DP).

As was said above this will be fixed in our next release.
