MIDI over Ethernet

I am trying to implement MIDI over ethernet to get time code and triggers from a computer on stage. Can the FB4 even accept MIDI over ethernet? I am still trying to figure out the whole MIDI thing anyway so I am still a little new to automation coming from click tracks on stage. Any advice would be helpful.

    To send MIDI over ethernet I use a pair LiteLink MIDI-1001, one at each end of the core.
    These convert the MIDI signal so that it will travel over a decent distance over ethernet and with low latency.
    The only caveat here is that it won't send MIDI over a network and is claimed to not work with switches, but I have not tested that personally
