This evening I tried to downgrade from 3.5.0 to 3.4.0 on a Full Boar 4 going out as a dry hire at the request of the client. I used the ISO and the installation appeared to run perfectly, but on reboot the Start Windows did not appear. In the end I upgraded to 3.5.1 and I hope there are no issues with the show. Is it possible to downgrade?
Shure it's possible. Use the full install. But any showfile created in 3.5 and higher is not compatible with lower versions. Downgraded 2 consoles recently with no issue.
Sounds like a bad install. You can go backwards and forwards in any S/W revision. -New USB to begin with. -Make sure you are installing the correct ISO? -I've got a few USB sticks with different S/W versions rather than trying to have a single USB and reformatting.
I tried it a couple of times with different sticks, it installed and completed but on the reboot the start screens were nowhere to be seen, just sat on the 4 logo wallpaper, it was like the start screens were appearing on an external monitor.
