Possible "bug" when using blank cues to trigger Comment Macros v.3.5.1

I was building a LOT of comment macro cuelists last night (blank cuelists - no information at all - just a comment macro) for another gentleman and I was having an issue with them not triggering. Everything was being done as virtual lists using the LISTS window on a Hedgehog.

I noticed I would push the virtual cuelist and nothing would happen. I would push the button a second time and it would fire. Upon investigation, I had inadvertently turned on "Add Release End Cue" to the stacks.

My train of thought (which could undoubtedly be wrong) is that this shouldn't have affected the lists triggering at all as a second push should "release" that cuelist and the first push should have triggered the macro (not that they needed to be released since there wasn't anything there).

I turned the option back to "Wrap around" and the lists would fire on the first press.

Could this possibly be a buried bug (since it happens very rarely with this situation)?

    Before I started, I had set preferences to "Add Release Cue" globally (which I had forgotten)

    Nothing in programmer
    [RECORD] - Window press in list window
    [OPEN] - Window press
    In comment macros... - GL45:GL58:GL73:GL102...etc...
    Close the window...
    Repeated building probably 10 tiles worth before I tested...

    Press the tile once...nothing happens...
    Press it a second time...the lists would fire (which technically should have been the "release")

    Change the list action to "Wraparound"

    Press the tile once - it fires...

    This was on a brand new show built in 3.5.1.
