In previous software versions I was able to set the flash key on a playback rate bath to flash to 0 and it would "freeze" the effect then when I unlatched the flash key it would resume. since upgrading to 3.9 this feature appears to be broken. I have tried all the different mapping options, including Halt, flash at 0, flash intensity at, etc. Is this a bug or has the syntax changed?
I've tried it as both an effect rate and a playback rate scaler. I want it to scale the effect rate however. I've tried this and for both methods the multiplier at the bottom of the batch will change to a blue 0 as if it is stopped but it has no effect on what is being output from the desk.
I see what you mean, I reproduced this side by side on a 3.8.0 and 3.9.0 console. I see the difference between the two. I showed it to our R&D testers this morning, they will log it as a defect and will see about getting it fixed in a future release.
Thank you for the report, I apologize that this feature is not working properly for you in 3.9.0.
