I'd like to automate all of my workflow. In particular, after I've drafted the show in Vectorworks (VW) and worked out a patch between VW and Lightwright (LW) -- I usual do it in VW first and check it with LW -- I want to load the show into the Hog. Both VW and LW make it easy to load into EOS, but not into HOG. Am I missing a hidden option?
I see the {Import Patch} button in the Fixture window, and it prompts for an XML/CSV file. But there's nothing in the manual as to what format it wants. I've tried all variations on data exports from VW and LW but Hog rejected each of them. Has anyone found the right format? Or is there an add-on tool for VW that will format for Hog?
It would be so sweet if ETC, in their infinite coolness, implemented MVR in both Hog and EOS while VW and LW do the same so all can "understand" the rig at the same time. Being able to then visualize that rig in Augmen3d (or Capture or Vision) would be double awesome...
