console controls erratic while programming

hi all,
thanks for any ideas you can suggest...

4 month old hog4, latest OS:
saved shows will execute without problems, but while programming various controls will freeze. could be the external touch screen input, could be the keypad, could be wheels...

anyone else had these problems?

drivers? firmware? port faults?
could it be related to power faults in light groups?

any ideas of where to look would be appreciated

    Hello, is it correct the console is only 4 months old? Has it had the problem since the beginning or did the console work properly for a while?

    Please email the serial number to mitch.peebles@highend.com and we will work with you to get it sorted. If you are outside of the USA we can help connecting with the distributor to help solve the problem.

    It seems there may be loose cable connections inside or possibly something is failing. As a test if there are any external devices such as touchscreens, mice, keyboards, etc., test without these to confirm they are not contributing to the problem.
