Recently installed 3.15.1 fresh from the ETC website on a on a laptop. (I5, 8 gigs ram,) when I opened the software the laptop immediately crashed and went into a boot cycle continually crashing until I wiped the machine and reinstalled windows. Thinking it was a hardware issue I picked up a NUC (windows 10, 16 gigs ram, i7) downloaded the program installed it and when I went to open it it crashed the brand new machine. Restored windows to a backup and went back to 3.14 and things are working fine.
I think it is about the Sentinel Dongle Driver for the Nomad Dongle which is checked for install by default. The dongle driver delivered with 3.15.1 could crash your windows. Unchecking the Nomad Driver in the Install window of Hog4PC should do the job. If you need the Nomad Dongle to work, there is a more actual driver available on the sentinel Website
Hello, this HES/ETC article should be helpful, it has to do with the sentinel dongle driver and it provides a workaround. support.etcconnect.com/ETC/Consoles/Eos_Family/ETCnomad_and_ETCnomad_Puck/ETCnomad_Blue_Screens_when_Installing_on_Windows_10
