Cues double firing ignoring links

We have a sporadic issue where a single press of the go button will cause the next 2 cues to fire, including past a show link. Follow cues are not on for those cues. It happens randomly at different points in the show. The worst moment was when it jumped from say cue 40 to 42 where 41 is a show link cue that should have triggered 60. Cannot get it to replicate and it has no predictability. Has anyone experienced anything like this or could point us in the right direction?

Thank you for your help and insight!

  • Sorry to hear about your cues double triggering.

Does this only happen when using the main Go button, or only when the Go button on the specific master is used, or in both cases?

To see if there might be a hardware issue, from the Hog Start window, open Control Panel, and go to the Diagnostics tab; click on Test Control Surface. From there, click on the responsible button. When the physical key is being pressed, the onscreen version of the button will turn red, and when you release the key it will turn green on your screen; watch for anything here that is different than what I said here.  If the button turns red when you're not holding it, something is happening with the button.

To see if it is a software issue, since you said it isn't easily replicated or predictable, would you send your show file to HESservice@highend.com so we can test it out, and see if we get the same issue?

    Thanks.
