This has been a continuing problem. Running 4.1 after 2-3 shutdowns or restarts it goes to th login screen. I have replaced the CR2032 and reloaded the bios and reinstalled, but it continues.
I have now reinstalled over 12 times.

If you set the proper date and time as well in the BIOS, there's a chance your motherboard is failing, or hard drive is full or corrupt. There's a slight chance there might be something wrong with the downloaded ISO as well. Please try a fresh download of the latest version V4.2 and be sure to flash your USB with the belena Etcher app. Use the back USB ports and unplug any other external USB accessories. If that still won't solve it, you may need to have it serviced by an authorized dealer. If you need help with any of the above, please email your serial number and contact info to HESservice@highend.com we will be happy to assist you.

I am working on a show and an hpu did that this morning. We are using 4.2 I noticed that it wouldnt see any jump drives i plugged into it. So i restarted and i got the hog4 login screen. I was able to use a full install to get the hpu working again. I replaced it with a rackhog and a dp8k. And rebuilt the show. Then about 10 hours later it did the same thing!!! I would love to know what is going on.
I think it is an issue with the Linux. I had problems with 3.21 also
Do the USB cards show up as "BOOTLOADER" in the file browser on your HPU? In some cases, we have observed an issue with the driver for the V1 USB cards and we have a solution if that is the case here.
