Not sure if this was a one off but I don't want to try and replicate it until I'm off this job as it was a major!
On a 2013 Hog 4 Full Size and running 4.1.0.
Someone asked for a copy of the patch. I went into it and clicked the print soft key ready to save to a pdf.
Had a desktop crash, showing just the blank screens with the '4' in the middle, nothing else. Couldn't restart desktop so turned the desk off and waited a minute.
On switching back on, it got stuck on the 'Hog 4' screen with fans at full. Waited 5 mins and turned off. Tried this 3 more times with the same result.
Finally came to life but kept flashing bios errors as it loaded.
When I finally got to the home screen it had no trace of my shows, as if the hard drive had been wiped. All network settings were at defaults.
Time and date were correct, it was as if I'd done a full install. On reloading my show from USB backup all was fine.
Had a new motherboard and fresh battery recently due to a hardware fault (she's an old lady now)
Anyone else had something similar?
