Well, if you wanted, you could always connect an A-B switch backstage (if you have your data lines terminating there to FOH) to a separate console and run cables to it... Although, that's almost the same thing!
Hey guys, have been reading this thread with interest. But what about the hog iPC's that have been flooding the markets recently (I actually bought a used one 2 months ago). Arent these exactly the missing link between RH and FB? They have networking capability and cost the same as RH, but are discontinued by HES. (Gee, I wonder why? :06:). Please some feedback! iPCs where discontinued because the Road Hog range superceeded it. Both Road Hogs where designed to replace the iPC and give more choice and price range to that specific market. Thats to my knowledge anyway...
In the above thread, Brad and Chris kindly shared some of the reasons why adding bits to certain consoles would not work. I am sure this would effect an upgrade kit and make it not possible for an upgrade kit to be made.
