Sensor CEM+ - Multicast address?

There are different multicast addresses for ETCNet2 vs CEM+ group communication. It will be important that you don't block the CEM+ multicast address if you have multiple CEM+ racks or if you intend to be able to change their configurations using DimStat or Concert.

The multicast address defined in the config is for CEM+ inter-group communication, and is used in both NET2 and NET3 environments.

 

The (default) multicast addresses used are as follows

Pre CEM+ v3.0 -

All Groups: 236.1.0.32

Post CEM+ v3.0 -

Group 1: 238.1.0.19
Group 2: 238.1.0.34
Group 3: 238.1.0.35
Group 4: 238.1.0.36
Group 5: 238.1.0.38
Group 6: 238.1.0.55
Group 7: 238.1.0.64
Group 8: 238.1.0.65
Group 9: 238.1.0.73
Group 10: 238.1.0.77
