Receiving sACN from Crestron

I'm working with a small system with a Net3 Gateway that needs to receive sACN data from a Crestron system.

Has anyone had any experience on the Crestron side? The ETC side of the equation is working perfectly.

  • The Net3 DMX Gateway needs to be configured as in Input Port with 1 to 1 Patch (or custom defined.)
    The Crestron needs to have a DMX Output Interface. Connect that Crestron DMX Output to the Net3 DMX Gateway Input Port. Do you have a DMX tester or another console that you can connect to the Net3 DMX Gateway Input and verify that DMX is coming into the Gateway? You can use sACNview Software to verify that sACN is then coming from that Input into the Network.

    Our Crestron programmer wound up fixing Crestron's programming module which allowed us to send basic sACN from the Crestron network to the Gateway. The Gateway was set to output DMX to a ColorSource Transmitter that communicated to a ColorSource wireless relay which output DMX to a series of S4WRDs.
