Concert 3 can't find a few things....

Okay, moving on to the next question of the day...

Why can't Net3 Concert find my dimmer racks and Paradigm controller. Attached is a map of the actual system layout; however all dimmer racks aren't able to be discovered. I can access their web-interfaces and login so I know they are locatable on this network and their IP's are the defaults.

Concert does locate all the gateways that are plugged in and the Ion console and Eos (grayed out because some are turned off at the moment), but even after running the "Unreachable Devices Wizard" the racks still don't come up. Have also tried switching Net2 to Net3.

updating the paradigm isn't hat simple. it usally involves getting the original supplier to figure out, if an update is feasible.

What version of CEM+ are you running?

As the current version is 3.1.3 (from 2013), it's possible that Concert can't see the old version that you have. I would suggest getting in touch with ETC service to have them walk you through upgrading the CEM software.

Updated via UpdaterAtor (which actually found the CEM's) and now they are linked with Concert. Now to figure how to do the same/similar with the Paradigm, as it's probably out of date too. Thanks for the suggestion!

Updating Paradigm is generally not required, unless you have run into a particular bug, require a new feature not available, or have hardware requirements; the advice is to leave Paradigm firmware where it is.

Any updating of the firmware would require a complete re-test, and sometimes re-engineering, will little to no gain.
