When editing materials, the mirror left/right and top/bottom buttons work opposite as expected

I've had a chat with the developers about this. The way the mirror controls impact the material is all dependent on the model. With a cube for instance, it's inevitable that some faces are U,V and others V,U.As materials are expected to be used with stock items, they have been lined up with them. If you apply a material to the Upstage Wall for instance you will see the controls work as expected. If assigned to a cube, you would need to apply rotation to the cube as shown below to provide the same map.
Hope that makes sense. We probably need to look at some way of helping users understand this a bit more clearly.
The stock Cube is currently mapped with the front face rotated 90.We're looking at updating that so the front and top faces are 'upright', as it does look rather odd at the moment.
