i dont see an option to register my Mosaic show controller X in the drop down menu....

You are correct; there is no option to register your Mosaic controller on your MyETC page. I have asked ETC marketing if this will or will not be added.
There is currently no plan to add a place to register your Mosaic Controller under MyETC as the sites product restoration section is under review.
