Mosaic Log Limit

When using the web interface to monitor playback, it seems that it can only store 147 lines of data.

Is there any way to stream this to an external server to continuously record data without it cutting off? (or any other workaround?)

Thanks!

  • Yes, enable "Remote logging via Syslog", and set the IP to be the IP of your computer (or a logging server like ETC Net3 Conductor).

Syslog is a UDP packet sent to port 514 so can be monitored using your favourite UDP listening software if you don't have a dedicated syslog viewer.

However, it's not a good idea to leave this going permanently as it's quite a heavy workload for the MSC, so it's only recommended for debugging.
