Intermittent Ghosting on DMX Port A with Paradigm and/or CEM 3

Having an issue with something in my system.  I have Paradigm, the Eos, and 6 dimmer racks on the network.  I have a contact relay panel because most of the work lights can be controlled by wall switches through out the house.

For some reason, with no device connected to hard wired DMX anywhere in the system, I get intermittent ghosting of all of my house lights at 50%.  I check the CEM for the problem lights and they say they are receiving signal from Port A, but there is nothing connected to port A.

Could something in the Contact relay panel be sending a phantom signal through port A?

There is no rhyme or reason as to when this occurs and I cannot recreate the problem.  The quick fix we have discovered is to reset the Paradigm processor.  So would the problem exist there?
