Unison Paradigm ACP Software Update 2.0.3 -> 2.0.4

Curious how one upgrades the Unison Paradigm ACP software in a DRD12 rack.

We have the above unit installed in one of the spaces within our venue.

It is my understanding a Paradigm ACP running 2.0.3.9.0.584 can not take a light designer config file edited in Light Designer 2.0.4.9.

In any case I can't find any sort of link to an ACP software page to investigate an update possibility. 

 Is the end user not capable of the ability to update the software in the paradigm acp without a field service tech?

Am I missing the link somewhere to the software updates or is it resticted?

  • Hi Dennis,

    Paradigm software andf firmware is generally only distributed to trained and authorised ETC Service Techs. We don't normally recommend updating ACP firmware unless there is a specific reason to do so.

    So yes, access to updates is restricted.

    If you have a specific need to update your system it's probably best to give your local ETC dealer a call, or speak to ETC phone support directly to discuss the options.
