Ip control from a distance?

Hello,

Is it possible to control a Paradigm system (or other) cue/preset through IP from a distance. We have studio's in multiple cities and I would like to know if it is possible to control a lighting cue (essentially the on/off of a cue/preset not the programing of the cue/preset) from a distance, like activating a cue in one city from another city?

One option would be to create a VPN tunnel between the two sites to let them exist "as one." On the front-end side, you could either hit the PACP with a web browser and activate cues that way, or have a physical LCD. If you have a PCCS set up, this gets a bit better for then you could do some fancy virtual touchscreen things.

A Paradigm can also respond to UDP messages, just like serial systems. Heck, with a VPN you might be able to send sACN and just take control. Paradigm is a master of data translation. To do those things you would most likely need the help of an ETC field technician to get everything set up.
