P-NSPS Capabilities

1. Yes.  The data sheet and websites have extra info that explain this further. The new NSPS supports 63 stations but it opens your P-ACP up to 128 stations in the overall system with 5.0 software. https://www.etcconnect.com/Station-Power/

2.  Elaborate more please what you were thinking and why. The P-ACP is the brains/processor of the system. So you have to have it. 

Hi Zack! Following up on Chris's message here.

There are no plans on developing an API to support Paradigm stations controlling any device outside of the Paradigm system. The NSPS is designed to work exclusively with the P-ACP, and we at this time plan on sticking to that.

For what it's worth, being able to use heritage or inspire control stations with Mosaic and/or other platforms would be AMAZING. Adding in dual tech occ and daylight sensors would be even better. Ideally all via some form of UDP protocol. I understand there may be good business reasons not to, but it's a huge gap in the market currently, and I personally sure would appreciate it

Have you looked into the echo product lines that has button and sensors for simpler systems and using some udp/backer/contact closure to talk to other systems.

My understanding with the echo integration stuff is that it is all about controlling echo spaces, not necessarily allowing access to the control stations or responsive controls.

It would be nice if I was able utilize something to use those control stations and responsive controls to control something else(like Mosaic, or another control system).

So you mean like I see a motion in the room and I want to trigger Mosaic to run a color chase?

That's an interesting idea, but essentially yes. I'd like to use the control stations because, quite frankly, they're nicer than the mosaic option, and I'd like to use the occupancy sensors and daylight harvesting functionality in a traditional manor(on/off/dim) in spaces that have more complex features.

That's totally doable.  It's a little kludgy.  But the cost point of echo is certainly less than paradigm. 

Daylight harvesting may be the trickiest.  But having a Occ/Vac sensor trigger an On in Mosaic and then trigger an off when the sensor times out is pretty simple. 

I would probably stick to UDP via the EII box, but contact closures out of Echo and into Mosaic for smaller simple would also do the same thing, see below.
