Can 2 hand held Paradigm touchscreens be connected at the same time?

Our system has one wall mounted 7" touchscreen and one handheld touchscreen.  There are 4 locations where the handheld can be connected to the system.  The Paradigm software and touchscreen stations were upgraded December 2019 so that we can use the Paradigm Touchscreen Remote App.  Could we purchase a second handheld touchscreen and have it functioning at the same time the other handheld is connected?

  • With the P-TS7-H you must have at least one P-LCD-DOCK or WAS (Wireless Access Station) per P-TS7-H you want to use at the same time. A single DOCK or WAS is unable to have two P-TS7-H units connected through it at the same time.

Since you already have "4 locations" where the handheld can connect, presumably that means you already have 4 DOCKs and/or WAS, which is great!. If you purchase a second P-TS7-H then you'll be able to have both units connected in two separate locations concurrently.

  • Of course, you'll still want to confirm that you actually do have more than one DOCK and/or WAS. It's also possible that they're separate physical locations, but all within close enough proximity that it's only one wireless point to connect through.
