Redundancy in a Paradigm System

Hello all,

How is redundancy in a paradigm system set up? Say a complete failure of the primary P-ACP. Would the redundant backup be a second unit of the P-ACP or would it be another device altogether?

Also, this is in the context of a networked system with sACN priorities providing the switching between the primary and backup.

Many thanks,

  • Hi Fadzil,

We don't offer the ability to do a primary and client P-ACP. If a P-ACP fails then it has to be replaced. We do occasionally see addittional P-ACPs sold on a project that the customer will keep as a spare and can swap out if needed. However, that process is not automatic.

Keep in mind that P-ACP failures are fairly rare. While all electronics may fail from time to time, including P-ACPs, this is not by any means a common issue we run into.

I hope that helps. Please feel free to reach out if you have any addittional questions: Shawn.Fernandez@etcconnect.com

    Thanks,
    Shawn
