BELDEN 8471

Is the Unison Stations recommended Belden 8471 a 14AWG or 16AWG? I am an AV person not a Lighting person and we received drawings from ETC for a theater project, and it shows Belden 8471 14AWG, but then when we went to order the cable, we were told 8471 is 16AWG.

  • Let me try to clarify.

    Unison stations require Belden 8417 or an approved cross AND a 14AWG wire. The 14AWG wire is an ESD ground.
