House Light Stuck On

Hello -

I'm a high school theatre teacher, so bear with me if I'm not using accurate language in my descriptions. Pur auditorium utilizes Paradigm and we have a house light that will not turn off, even if our console (Ion XE) has control. We have a show coming up in a couple of weeks (The Legend of Sleepy Hollow) and it will be a HUGE bummer if we cannot have full blackouts.

I've sought help from my school district maintenance department, but received no help from them. I've tried to power cycle our control processor and I was able to power the light off through the house channels menu on the processor. However, as soon as I turn the house lights off and on again through our paradigm or console, it gets stuck on. The system control box says system ok.

Please help, from an exhausted teacher coming up on tech week.

This is a bit hard to troubleshoot over the forums. There are many things that could be causing this, like presets re-recorded in Paradigm, or a dimmer rack stuck in a preset, or a DMX chain issue causing fixtures to go to their DMX loss look.
