DALI Gateway

Is there a way to factory default the gateway without losing the DMX info that has been assigned to the ballasts? Or do I just need to accept the fact that I'll have to remap the ballasts?

  • If you save your concert file with everything setup and connected then disconnect the Dali Line from the gateway before you factory reset the gateway it will not reset the fixtures and they will retain their short addresses.

    Once the Gateway has been reset, power it down and reconnect the dali line then power up.

    It will discover all the Dali Ballasts and then you should be able to upload your concert file to the gateway and sub devices (Which should all have the original short addresses) again and should put all the DMX addresses back.
