Paradigm Touch type

Would like to use a Unison touchscreen on a small architectural installation. Documentation does not specify the type of touch panel used with the control. Looking on the internet I see there are different types. Those like an iphone or iPad that require only a light touch and other types which require pressure. I think the latter is called resistive. What is uses with the unison Paradigm control?

The LCD has a resistive touch screen, which does require some light pressure to actuate. However, it is worth pointing out that the type used is not one that requires a stylus to properly function; it is meant for fingers.

Thanks Matt for replying so quickly. Certainly operation without a stylus is important. Is there any desire to switch to the technology used in an iPhone or iPad?

It's certainly not out of the question. Capacitive touch screens would allow for multi-touch capabilities, which could provide some interesting control possibilities. It does add quite a significant expense, however :-).
